A post mortem examination on the remains of 42-year-old Clive Chisholm who was reportedly crushed by a Cevon’s Waste Management truck at the Haags Bosch dumpsite has revealed that he died as a result of a crushed skull and chest.
The post mortem examination was done yesterday at the Georgetown Public Hospital’s Mortuary by Government Pathologist Dr. Nehaul Singh.
His remains have since been handed over to his widow, Rajnee Annie Beephan. Beephan told this publication that her husband’s former employer, Cevons Waste Management has since indicated a willingness to assist with the funeral expenses and nothing more.
While the family has accepted the assistance the woman said she is more concerned about what will happen to her children after her husband’s funeral. The couple has two minors and Chisholm was the sole breadwinner for the home.
The woman added that she has received information that the man who was driving the truck at the time of the incident is back on the job and no charges have been laid against him.
On Thursday last Chisholm was crushed while directing a garbage truck which was reversing at the Haags Bosch dumpsite in Eccles.
There are reports that the incident occurred at around 14:00 hours but up until 18:00 hours his body was still lying at the site.
