corporate community continue to demonstrate faith in the tournament and yesterday afternoon yet another entity decided to put its money where its mouth is.
Towards this end, Brian McRae of the McRae’s Supermarket of Amelia’s Ward Linden trooped to the Irving Street offices of the organizers and consummated a sponsorship deal that included a cheque of an un undisclosed sum and a beautiful trophy.
Aubrey Major accepted the gift and conveyed deepest appreciation on behalf of the organizers.
For his part, Mr. McRae said that his firm is delighted to contribute to the success of the tournament. He wished the organizers well even as he committed to continued support in the future.
