Dear Editor,
I had to laugh when I turned to page 10 of Stabroek News dated Wednesday, December 7, ‘GECOM To Release Copies Of SOPs.’
Really GECOM, is that the best that you can do? Whilst you’re releasing copies, is it possible for OAS, EAB, any organization other than what you’re affiliated with, including lawyers, to make note of the AUTHENTIC SOPs?
You’ve already gone through the task of compiling them on DVDs. And while you’re at it, could you educate us all, how were the bottom house polling stations without numbers, computed into the counting system?
Meeting, meetings, and more meetings…Can we get it over and move on?
Note to President Ramotar, “Charity begins at home”.You owe it to yourself and your nation to be surrounded by the best, if you are to become the best. There’s no time for dragging incompetent performers behind you. There’s no free lunch. No one should be entitled to what he hasn’t worked for. What more proof do you need than their job performances, compacted with what we’re witnessing at present?
What hasn’t surprised me is that not one single member of your Cabinet has taken the responsibility to go to the streets and talk to the people, to help in bringing about the calm that is being claimed is absent.
APNU, AFC , and others are being held accountable for the state of the country but will you and the members of your cabinet, who have been recycled, stand and wear that same Garment? The difference between mediocrity and excellence is a choice!
Stand, Stand President Ramotar. Be a leader. People may doubt what you say, but they will always believe what you do.
