When a man deh in jail fuh a long time and he get release he does wake up de next morning and still feel he in jail. He does pick up he bed pan and stand up by the door waiting fuh somebody open it. If he walk pun de road he does try fuh hurry back home before four o’clock because that is lockdown time.
Well imagine wha happen when Bar Rat wake up Sunday morning. De first thing de man do was call fuh “Security bring me coffee.” When he ain’t get no answer he holler more hard.
He lie down back. Then he go in de bathroom and come out and dress. Then he call fuh he car. No car ain’t come and he start fuh cuss. Then he call Henry de Yellow and demand that he transfer de whole presidential guard. Henry stammer and Bar Rat clap one holler pun he.
He call Clement and de phone ring out. Dem boys seh that Clement see de number but he refuse to answer.
Is when Bar Rat come down stairs and call fuh de car that de driver ask he wheh he going, that he ain’t president no more and he ain’t got no office to go to. Is only then de man know that he powers gone.
He go back upstairs and start fuh worry about wha he gun do whole day and all dem other day. When he had power he do a lot of things. He call de same Henry de Yellow and tell he fuh tek way dem gun wha de security at de Waterfalls paper had. Henry run and do it. De people get it back as soon as Bar Rat lef de office. Now Clement plan fuh tek way Bar Rat gun because dem boys report how de man unstable and he might use it. Just like how Kwame did use he own fuh shoot bird outside he window.
But whole day Sunday and again Monday Bar Rat trying fuh give orders. He even call de Lunch Man fuh set up a Cabinet meeting. Which Cabinet? Dem boys seh it got to be de one in he house.
But dem boys seh that if Donald get he way he gun mek sure that only Rob Bert and Irfaat, Bar Rat phone can get access to. After all that is de man dem who cause more problems in Guyana than even dem Africanised Bees.
