The fires are still here and there will be more in the coming days. Increasingly, electricity connections will fray and sparks will fly. The Guyana Fire Service will be hard pressed to cope, especially at this time when there are people willing to start fires because of dissatisfaction.
People are going to feel as though they are under some major threat because they would be afraid to leave their homes without ensuring that there is no electrical connection.
But there is always the arsonist, as one home in the eastern in the country would find out. Anger sometimes sparks fires too.

Although the best of the holidays are still to come, some people are simply not going to be around. Some armed men are going to try to make merry but the police will be there to thwart their best efforts.
In one case, a pair would target a businessman who had just left the bank, with some success. The problem would come when they try to escape with their loot. In any case while they will be caught, one with a bullet, the money would somehow disappear.

The distrust among the people would see a call for the government to select certain members from the opposition in its Cabinet. However, this is not going to be accepted because acting on advice the political opposition will feel comfortable outside.
There are going to be many offers in the coming days and many would be left hanging.
