The Guyana Police Force is informing the general public that in order to facilitate security arrangements for General and Regional Elections, the following roads will be closed to vehicular traffic from 06:00 hours today until further notice:
High Street, between Cowan and Barrack Streets, Georgetown.
Cowan Street, between High and Fort Streets, Georgetown.
In addition, the following traffic restrictions which are currently in place, will continue until further notice: Water Street, between Cowan and Barrack Streets, Georgetown – two way traffic.
Barrack Street, between High and Water Streets, Georgetown – one way traffic flowing west.
Fort Street, between Cowan and Barrack Streets, Georgetown – one way traffic flowing north.
