during May 27-28 in Atlantic City, New York, secured a superb first position in the form (kata), Weapons and Musical competition.
Participants of the Championships had in their presence to conduct training seminars, the famous Billy Blanks at the Sheraton Hotel and Resort in Atlantic City.
Sensei Bobb, the only Caribbean Representative at the Karate Championship was privileged to have a photo with Master Jose L. Torres II, the NAFMA Director before being selected by Billy Blanks and Master Torres II to be a part of the US National team for the 2012 Asia Tour Korea/China which will be held in three towns (Beijing China, Shao Lin Temple and Shanghai China).
Sensei Bobb was in preparation for the upcoming tournament in New Jersey, Long Island and Manhattan five days weekly before his return to Guyana.
Sensei Bobb is expressing gratitude to his sponsors (Honourable Prime Minister, Mr. Samuel Hinds; Director of Sport, Neil Kumar; the Beterverwagting N.D.C Office; Marlon’s Grocery B/V; his family and friends of Guyana and the USA for helping to shape his success.
Meanwhile, training seminars for all Martial Art Schools will be hosted at Beterverwagting Community Centre in December at a cost of $200 while Grading for Harpy Eagle Martial Arts Academy Students will be held on December 18 at the same venue from 10:00hrs.
