As the Kashif and Shanghai Knockout Football Tournament draws closer to its opening day

(December 10), another mega sponsor, Aruwai Enterprise Inc. has joined in ensuring that the lucrative annual tournament is a success as it has been for the years of its existence by bequeathing the first prize of One Pound of Gold.
Representative of Aruwai Plaza, Kevin Baboodlall disclosed that the International Hotel (Aruwai Plaza) will be launched officially in 2013 and has promised to partner with Kashif and Shanghai Organisation for three consecutive years in the good will of football in Guyana to continue their donations of standard first prizes for the tournament.
Kashif Muhammad of the K&S Organisation, who was grateful with the mega contribution from the Aruwai Plaza, said that he was happy that the Aruwai Enterprise Inc has chosen K&S Organisation to launch their building of Sheriff Street.
Aruwai Plaza’s contribution of One Pound of Gold will see twenty teams, which comprises of two international team and 18 local teams from across Guyana, competing fiercely for the first prize worth 4 million dollars (one pound of gold).
Meanwhile, the defending champions of the K&S Football Tournament, Alpha United, will not able to participate in the competition since they violated the requirements of Guyana Football Federation recently with their participation in the Georgetown Football Association organized Super League it was disclosed.
