West Berbice zone Ministry 7:15 finals set for today at Blairmont ground

The West Berbice zone finals of the Ministry of Culture Youth and Sport 7:15 Inter Block Football tournament will be contested today at the Blairmont ground starting at 1:00pm.
Parliamentary Secretary in the Sport Ministry, Steve Ninvalle, will be on hand for the official kickoff and to present prizes to the winners.
Four teams; Calcutta, Belladrum, Hopetown and Ithaca will battle for the right to be the zone champs and also to represent on the national finals.  The draw of the fixtures will be done before the start and keen competition is expected.
Zone finalists were to be decided in Linden, Georgetown and East Bank yesterday.  Buxton is the East Coast representative, having won their zone last weekend.
