Synthetic athletic track attracts $79M for phase two construction

Six bids were opened on Tuesday, for the construction of synthetic track and field phase two lot four (construction of boundary fence and ticket booths, Leonora Community Centre Ground, Region Three) at National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB).

With an engineer’s estimate of $75, 374,852 the bids which were submitted are:

With an engineer’s estimate of $2,759,189 the Guyana Energy Agency received bids for the rehabilitation of the existing shed, encase two containers and revet the northern drain. The bids are as follows:

Meanwhile, seven bids were submitted under the Ministry of Health for the site preparation works for the Specialty Hospital, Turkeyen. The engineers estimate for the project is $161,552,000. The bids are:

Another project for the Ministry of Health was submitted for critical improvement works at Charles Rosa Nursing School and the Nurse’s Hostel. With an engineer’s estimate of $2,824,925 the bids submitted are:

Under the Ministry of Agriculture, the National Drainage and Irrigation Authority (NDIA) one lone bid was tendered for the construction of road culvert at Guruhu Canal Soesdyke, East Bank Demerara. With an engineers estimate of $14,942,600.

Seven bids were also opened at the NPTAB for the Installation of Transmission Main at Herstelling, East Bank Demerara under the Ministry of Housing. The engineers estimate was $65,252,450, and the bids are:

In addition, NPTAB also opened bids under the Ministry of Housing for the construction of roads and drains at Foulis East Coat Demerara. With an engineer estimate of $31,769,650, the bids submitted were:

Meanwhile five bids for the Construction/ Rehabilitation of the Amaila Falls Access road were also opened at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB).

Under the Ministry of Public Works and Communication four sections were tendered for at the NPTAB, these sections are three, four, five and six. The engineers estimate for section three is $425, 433, 030, section four, $348, 834, 930, section five, $264, 640, 400 and section six $403, 592, 400.
