‘Fudgee’ wanted for 2008 teenager’s murder
Police have once again expressed an interest in 46-year old Melanie Damishana resident, Elon Azore, called
Elon Azore aka ‘Fudgee’
‘Fudgee’ who they say is wanted for questioning in relation to the August 2008 murder of 19-year- old Dennis Richards, called Junior.
Azore, who was reportedly released from prison some time last year, is believed to be the mastermind behind the murder of Richards who was brutally beaten by a group of men in a house in the Melanie Damishana squatting area.
He succumbed a few hours later at the Georgetown Public Hospital.
Richards had just returned from the North West District when four men called him from his home. They invited him to an abandoned house where they beat him.
It was a friend who informed relatives that Richards was lying in a semi-conscious condition in the house.
Police had launched a manhunt for Azore after receiving information that he may have been involved.
They had even blocked his two children from leaving the country while he was still on the run.
However, he was subsequently arrested and spent several months in the Camp Street prison before his release last year.
