AFC to expose “Development Strategy for Linden and Region 10”
The Linden Fund Trust (LFT) is announcing a brand new initiative, a Linden Media Forum, to be held tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. at the LEN/LEAP building on Republic Avenue in Linden.
The inaugural Linden Media Forum, which is an initiative intended to highlight matters of importance on a broad range of issues affecting the residents of the region, before a panel of journalists and others, will feature the Alliance for Change.
The LFT has invited the three major parties contesting the general elections to make individual presentations on their respective development strategies for Linden and Region Ten.
The tentative date for APNU’s presentation is November 21. No date has yet been set for the PPP/C’s presentation.
The Linden Media Forum is part of the broader Linden Community Forum (LCF) that was unveiled during Town Week 2011. The mission of the LCF is to facilitate community discourse in support of effective participation in the governance and development of Linden and Region 10. The LCF comprises the Linden Forum, the Linden Media Forum, and the Linden NGO Forum.
The Linden Media Forum will be an event where selected speakers will be invited to present topics on specific issues within their areas of responsibility. The format for the 90-minute event will include a 25-minute presentation followed by a 35-minute question and answer period from members of the media panel and residents.
