Nov 15, 2011 Letters
Dear Editor,
Earlier in the year, I had a great interest in participating for the very first time as a voter in the November 28, 2011 general elections.
However, it now appears that I will no longer feel compelled to carry out that task because of what I have been witnessing during political campaigning recently.I have witnessed grown adults taking the dogmatic and gutter approach with their respective campaigning strategies …and it’s disgusting.I say, for the records and as far as my expectations go, that none has so far convinced me (to vote). I am also wondering why is there an absence of any Chinese, now naturalised Guyanese, on the political campaigns.
