Every day Bar Rat proving to be worse than people think. A old man decide to write to he fuh get he pension. He mek de man get he pension wid conditions. De man had to go to every rally. And de man use to guh other wise Bar Rat woulda instruct to tek back de money and stop everything.
Sunday de poor fella cowardly get up from he bed. He wife seh suh. He join de rally truck en route to Stewartville. He meet dead on arrival.
Another old man didn’t know to write because he nah been far in school. He go to de rally fuh meet bar Rat and talk bout he pension money.
According to dem boys Bar Rat was busy. He refuse to listen to de man wha he had to seh. De poor old man wait till he go pun de stage and start a cuss down fuh he money wha he cut cane all he life for.
Dem boys seh that when de man start cuss he shout out, “Bar Rat you did want Third Term. You nah thief enough? You carry way de whole treasury. Imagine if you did get de Third Term. You woulda carry way Guyana. Thank capital GOD.”
Dem boys seh that if that old man did know he woulda sleep in de lock up fuh tell Bar Rat all dem hutful thing he woulda lef he two cent and tell Bar Rat fuh give de Bees. Dem Bees does do anything fuh money.
De poor fella get lock up. No lyers coulda see he. He get loose till de next afternoon pending charges. Anyhow, he might end up before de magistrate who guh send he home anyhow. And Bar Rat can’t do nutten bout that. Just like de li’l boy who show de middle finger.
Talk half and wait fuh de other half.
