Seasoned cyclist Robin Persaud has continued his good showing this year with yet another win, this time he pedaled to victory in the feature 30-lap contest at the Second Annual Powerade sponsored 11-Race Cycling Meet held at the inner circuit of the National Park on Saturday last.
When Persaud crossed the finish line he was timed at 1 hour 8 minutes completing the distance closely followed by Paul De Nobrega, veteran Raymond ‘Steely’ Newton, Kurt La Rose, Rawle Leal, and Michael Anthony in that order.
Both Persaud and Newton copped 3 sprint prizes each with Anthony and Leal claiming one each.
