The Guyana Cycling Federation met with its president, Ms. Cheryl Thompson on Thursday, November 3 at the Guyana Olympic Association to address certain actions by the president which the Federation felt were not under her jurisdiction.
After further discussions on the issues of concern Ms. Thompson in a stateswoman-like and commendable manner, apologised for her infractions.
All the Federation members then welcomed Ms. Thompson back on board and both parties pledged to work together and hand in hand for the betterment and development of cycling.
Mr. Burchsmith then stated that he was elated at this amicable solution and like everyone else voiced support for Ms. Thompson.
