Republic Bank New Amsterdam Branch recently presented four lucky customers with their winnings of a Stereo set, a four-burner gas stove, a microwave oven and a DVD player in the recently concluded Town Week Loan Campaign promotion.
This promotion was held in September to coincide with the New Amsterdam Town Week celebrations.

w customers having access to financing to satisfy various needs including purchasing automobile, household items, educational needs amongst other purposes.
Each customer on acquiring the loan was given coupons which were used to enter the drawing.
The lucky customers, Mahendranauth Punsammy, Akeema Mann, Jacqueline Hinds and Sean Saunders, who all took loans during the period and filled up the necessary forms were presented with their prizes by Manager Imran Saccoor and staff at a simple presentation ceremony held in front of the Bank’s Office in Strand and New Street New Amsterdam.
According to Saccoor, Republic Bank is a selfless entity and has always looked at ways of satisfying its customers and giving back to the community in which it serves. He stated that the bank has a number of promotions and community-based activities ongoing at the moment.
This promotion was launched to reach out to those in the New Amsterdam and Canje areas.
