Customers can get in on partnership with Trinidad retailer
REDjet, the Caribbean’s Low Fares Airline, has published its September 2011 customer service statistics, claiming that the carrier is Number One customer service airline.
During September 2011, 92 per cent of REDjet’s flights arrived on time (within 15 minutes of schedule); less than one complaint per 1,000 passengers was received and less than one mislaid bag claim per 1,000 passengers was received.
REDjet’s Communications Executive, Nyssa Pierre, said, “REDjet’s unbeatable formula of the lowest fares, no fuel surcharges and number one customer service delivery continue to encourage passengers to switch from high fares, fuel surcharging flag carriers such as Caribbean Airlines and LIAT.”
She said that REDjet’s revolution in the Caribbean is continuing because it beats long-established monopoly airlines.
“Once they have switched to REDjet’s prices, customers keep coming back for our unbeatable on- time flights, fewest lost bags and great customer service,” she stated.
Since the successful launch of REDjet’s fares for sale six months ago in April 2011,much of the consumer demand has come in the form of a huge volume of calls through the REDjet call service centre.
REDjet acknowledged that some customers have experienced delays in reaching the call centre over the last eight weeks, particularly around peak times of the day.
As a result, REDjet has a well advanced programme to deliver a new call centre at the airport facility at the Grantley Adams International Airport in Barbados within the next two weeks.
This facility will add 200 per cent more capacity in the immediate future and customers will see an immediate improvement to REDjet’s service. It is planned that as REDjet launches even more low fare routes in 2012, additional capacity will be added to this ensuring excellent customer service in the future.
Meanwhile, REDjet has teamed up with Trinidad and Tobago retail giant, Francis Fashions Shoe Locker to reward all passengers travelling to Trinidad between now and December 31, 2011.
From November 1, all REDjet passengers visiting Trinidad and Tobago from Barbados, Guyana and Jamaica will receive a 25 per cent discount guaranteed on all items in the store when they check-in to fly on REDjet.
The voucher is redeemable at any of 30 Francis Fashion Shoe Locker locations as well as at Be Yourself stores: Sportworld, PUMA, Nike/Adidas/Puma (3in1), GUESS, Decorator’s Dream, Got Shoooz and BioFitness gym.
“No other airline has and can match the savings we have promised and are delivering to our consumers. With consumers tightening their belts, this opportunity to enjoy discount shopping and REDjet’s US$9.99 fares still available in November and December to Trinidad, could not come at a better time,” Pierre stated.
Public Relations Representative for Francis Fashions Shoe Locker, Arund Ramlal, said that like REDjet, the company believes in delivering a high quality, low cost product and rewarding our customers for their loyalty.
“Passengers will enjoy massive discounts on some of the world’s biggest brands just in time for Christmas and the New Year.”
