Diwali night mek people realize how much thiefing going on. In de past, night like Diwali night use to bring out people from every corner. People use to lef de country and come to town just to see de lighting up.
Rich people use to light up de most diyas. This time around dem hardly had any. Dem boys seh that it had to be that somebody thief de diyas. But who gun thief all dem diyas. Dem boys seh that is only a couple people and dem thief half of Guyana already.
De rich people know that de GRA man use to drive round and then he would tax dem. All like how he get de national award is more tax in dem who got nuff diyas.
But since last night dem boys see something suspicious. Dem see Rob-Bert driving round and counting. He was counting dem house that he know does light nuff diyas.
Is only de church in Alexander Village had nuff lights and church don’t pay tax. People pay good money now dem in a corner cussing Bar-Rat fuh spoiling dem Diwali. Dem claim how he tax de clay that mek diyas, he tax de oil, he tax de match and he tax even de diya light.
If wasn’t fuh de Big Man friends de motorcade woulda been a mess. He friends decide to pay back fuh de national award and dem put out some good money. That part was nice. But is de diya.
Dem boys know that some of de Big Man papers travel and search and in de end dem had to settle fuh wha people woulda ignore last year.
That mean is more cuss fuh de media when Sunday come. Bar-Rat gun blame dem fuh de absence of de diya and fuh dem negative attitude. From now on, whenever anything guh wrang is de media. Even when Fip fail to finish de road this year is de media fault.
Talk half. Lef half.
