The body of miner, Junior Joseph, formerly of Bartica and Cullen, on the Essequibo Coast, was discovered somewhere in Region Eight, by his employer, Pandit, a/k Sir on Monday.
According to Joseph’s grieving wife, Annie Joseph, her husband’s employer, and a team of men made the discovery after an intense search was immediately launched for the miner, who went missing, last Saturday.
Mrs. Joseph said that she was only informed that her husband’s body was recovered. She said that she was fed no additional information as to exactly where.
Joseph worked as an excavator operator, in Bartica, prior to his death. He had planned to return to Essequibo, Friday coming.
According to Mrs. Joseph she last spoke to her husband one day before he and four others ventured into the interior. She learnt that their boat capsized at the Waruni falls outside Bartica.
Junior has left to mourn his wife Annie, young son Brandon, and daughter Tia.
