The management committee of the Ogle Community Centre Ground (OCCG) continues to work assiduously towards the development of the infrastructure and in an effort to realize the requisite funds has organized a games and fun day for the entire family on October 30.
Secretary of the OCCG, Sheik Yaseen said that the club is an important institution in the Ogle community and his executives are intent on creating the environment to foster the development of the residents. He said that the impending fun day will focus heavily on the children of the Ogle and adjoining communities and already more that 80 youngsters have enrolled to participate.
Activities commence at 09:00hrs with a 5 a-side, six overs cricket competition and a football match of a similar format. There will also be added activities that encourage participation of the family including Lime and Spoon and sack races. A domino competition gets underway at 14:00hrs and precedes a ball throwing competition, athletics, table tennis and a pool competition. There will also be a special gift for the best family.
Music would be provided by Steve 101 Sounds and the promoters are grateful for the input of several corporate citizens including M Beepat and Sons who has contributed heavily towards the success of the programme. Others supporters are BM Soat, Davo Lumber Yard, M&K Supermarket, Crazy Auto Works, Naraine’s Trading, Robert Chair and Tent Rental, Gain Mart, Zalata Auto Works, Builder’s Lumber Yard, Game Express, S&M Trading, Cell Phone Shack and Tulsie Machine Shop.
