The Course organised by the Ministry of Commerce, People’s Republic of China and the Economic & Commerical Counselor’s Office of the People’s Republic of China in Guyana commenced in Changsha City on October 19 and will run until December 13, 2011.
The Course for high level Coaches will include China’s basic national conditions, development status and trends of world Badminton, badminton sports and its competition rules, Badminton sports psychology, strength and endurance training, Badminton techniques and tactics.
Other activities that will take place are a symposium with leaders, specialists and coaches from Badminton circles in Hunan, surveying the development situation of non-governmental Badminton in Hunan; visiting the Hunan Anhua Badminton School which is the cradle of China’s Badminton Champions; a Badminton contest with the retired world champions or active champions in China; symposium on the development situation of Badminton at the college of Physical Education, Hunan Normal University.
