The Essequibo Cricket Board met with pacer Trevor Benn recently and has clarified the issue pertaining to his non selection of the senior Essequibo Inter County on day team.
According to a release from the ECB, Benn had indicated that he was no longer interested in representing the country due to his non selection.
Public Relations officer Nazeer Mohamed told Kaieteur sport that the board would like to publicly state that Benn is still very much a part of its plans and has asked him to reconsider his recent decision.
