A Richmond Housing Scheme rice farmer died yesterday afternoon after he lost control of his tractor on the Hoff Van-Aurich Public Road.
Ganesh Judhan,a/k Cakes, 40, was discovered by onlookers who converged on the scene in an attempt to render assistance to him, but failed.
Mrs. Judhan who received the news of her husband’s sudden demise was shaken. Mrs. Judhan repeatedly blurted out, “Me can’t believe Rajesh dead.”
According to the grieving wife, she last saw her husband some time early yesterday morning before he left to pull rice for his employer, Raffeek Khan.
Mrs. Judhan explained that she gave her husband water and cooked blackeye peas to take with him to work.
She said that recently, her husband kept telling her that he was having dreams of his deceased relatives.
According to reports, Judhan was taking paddy for his employer, Khan, when he lost control of his tractor and ended up in a nearby trench.
He has left to mourn his wife, two teenaged children, Rajive and Asheefa Judhan.
