The tournament has attracted nearly 50 players many of who are using the event to get in valuable practice for this weekend’s Guyana Open Competition.
Meanwhile, Digicel’s CEO Gregory Dean made some brief remarks shortly before hitting the tee to signal the commencement of competition.
First day leader Rajkumar speaking with this newspaper after the completion of the day’s play expressed confidence of duplicating his performance in today’s final session.
According to Rajkumar, he was quite satisfied with the manner in which he hit his drives, adding that he was consistent on the fairways and missed them just once during the day.
“I was hitting the fairways and the greens pretty steady and that is basically the formula for posting such an impressive score after the opening day,” Rajkumar stated.
He said he has found a good rhythm with his swing and he feels his game at present is good enough to hold off the rest of the field.
Today is the final day of competition and the presentation of prizes will be done shortly after the completion of play.
