Customers served by the Mon Repos Water Treatment Plant, East Coast Demerara, are currently experiencing a disruption of their service or low water pressure due to operational challenges at the plant.
Affected areas include Mon Repos, Triumph, Good Hope and Beterverwagting, East Coast Demerara.
Guyana Water Incorporated teams are currently working to rectify these difficulties in the swiftest manner possible.
GWI is now urging customers to desist from tampering with mains or any of the water utility’s infrastructure during this disruption.
