The stunning and talented Aletha Shepherd will be continuing her Miss Guyana reign by taking part in two prestigious pageants in order to sustain and uphold Guyana within the beauty pageant industry.
She is competing in Miss Asia Pacific which started Saturday in Korea with the finals on Saturday, October 15.
The international model and television star will then fly directly to Albania to take part in the Miss Globe with the finals on Tuesday, November 1.
Miss Shepherd will be creating history by becoming the first ever Miss Guyana to take part in three international prestigious beauty pageants.
“Judging from her previous experience at the Miss World competition in 2010, we know Aletha will do extremely well amongst the other delegates,” the Miss Guyana World organisation stated.
She will be keeping her fans and the media updated daily with her progress by posting daily video diaries and updates to her very popular blog www.confessionsofabeautyqueen.co.uk
At Miss Asia Pacific 2011, Aletha will have the privilege of attending the Busan International
Film Festival as well as an official meeting with the President of South Korea. The delegates will be taking part in many charity events and will be taken through rigorous training for the final show.
In addition to her entry in this year’s Miss Asia Pacific, Miss Aletha Shepherd’s presence at the Miss Globe competition is a huge achievement.
In Albania the girls will do numerous public appearances as well as meet with the President of Albania. The final will be a grand event with broadcasts shown throughout the world.
Miss Aletha Shepherd intends to return to Guyana a few weeks after her international assignments to talk about her experiences and to launch various projects for the Guyanese community.
The multi talented Guyanese has plans to launch TV shows as well as beauty products.
