Coca Cola League continues on Sunday at Diamond Ground
With the season getting off to a wonderful start on Sunday last, teams on the East Bank of Demerara are
fearing to continue battle when the Coca Cola Premier League organised by the East Bank Football Association (EBFA) set to continue this Sunday at the same venue with a double header.
Banks DIH will make a welcome return to competitive football when they match skills with Timehri Panthers in the feature game of the afternoon from 16:00hrs. The Banks DIH boys will be eager to go given that fact that they will conclude their inter-division football competition this evening at the Banks DIH Thirst Park Ground.
The Beverage boys will be fit and will also be out to prove that they can be a very competitive unit against their more seasoned rivals. Timehri Panthers, no pushovers, will be aiming to tame the Beverage boys in what is anticipated to be a keen battle.
Sunday’s opening fixture will see Mohca Champs taking Kuru Kuru Lions from 14:00hrs. Mocha once a top team on the East Bank are seek to regain that hype but will first have to get past the Lions in what will be a tough task in making it back to the helm of the game in this association.
