Tutorial High School’s ‘E’ House built on their slight lead after the field events
competition last week that helped them retain the school’s inter-house athletics title yesterday at the Police Sports Club Ground, Eve Leary. The champions amassed 576 points to retain the title they have now won five out of the six times within the last six years. ‘E’ House lost the title in 2009. ‘D’ House was second with 554 points with ‘A’ House rounding off the top three with 545 points.
Additionally, ‘B’ House was fourth with 461 points while ‘C’ House took the cellar position with 415 points. The Inter-House competitions are the first step toward the National Schools’ Athletics, Cycling and Swimming Championships scheduled for November.
