Tutorial High School U-16 boys were victorious in the Neal and Massy Group Companies National Rugby 2011 School Tournament (NRST) which held in the National Park Rugby ground, Saturday.

In the spot light of tourney was Tutorial High School’s Adrian Van Sertima, who was awarded the Most Valuable Player in the U-16 category as his counterpart Wynston Daniels registered the highest tries to clinch the ‘Highest Scorer’ trophy.
Covent Garden Secondary defeated Marians and St. Johns College combined team after registering a total of four tries. Collette Josiah who had two tries for Covent Garden was named the MVP as well as the Highest Scorer of the match.
The Convent Garden under 14 boys team continued to catalog their school’s name in the tournament as they decimated their opponents to win the category ahead of North Georgetown Secondary with a two game win and St. Johns College, one.
Claiming the MVP trophy was Daniel De Abreu as Roderick McKenzie took the Highest Scorer trophy with three tries.
The National Rugby players who educated and guided the participants throughout the tournament, demonstrated to the Schools the correct way in which a Rugby game should be played with an Exhibition Game to end the day before the presentation was conducted.
