International Drag Racing Championships will continue today at the South Dakota Circuit with Round 2 of Guyana’s battle against Suriname expected to start at 12 noon.
The fastest cars and bikes from the two countries will compete for supremacy once again with an intensified rivalry continuing from Round 1 earlier this year. Surinamese ace drag racer, Oliver Tjiv Liep-Sltie will lead his countries challenge today.
Meanwhile, Guyana will look to Rondel Dabi, Afraz Allie, Arvind Parag, Rafeek Mohamed and Andrew Edwards among others to keep the Golden Arrowhead flying high as what is expected to be a fun-filled day of drag racing at the local Mecca of motorsport.
Adults will pay $1,000 to enter the Circuit while children and all vehicles are free.
