Is confusion in de system. Two cops decide that dem gun mek dem heights before dem lef de wuk. A man gun get tek way and two of dem tell de man that if he give de $50,000 dem gun get back de gun.
De man, like a fool, give dem de money but he ain’t get no gun suh he complain. In de end de two cops get charge. Dem boys seh that whenever cops end up in court is a big laugh because dem is de people who got to uphold de law.
De magistrate jail dem fuh five years and dem appeal. Dem claim how de sentence too harsh. When other people get jail dem have to tek it but when policemen get jail de sentence too stiff. Dem boys did want to know if de man money wasn’t stiff, too.
Anyhow dem appeal and dem gun spend less time in jail but is same jail. And while dem busy appealing dem have de other ones who join in painting sign pun de road. That was stupidness. Some of dem had white paint and some had black paint.
Dem, boys seh that de set wid de white paint smear up de writing but dem wid de black paint trace over de letter pun de road. If people couldn’t read wha de people write de fuss time de police mek dem able to read it wid dem tracing over in black.
Henry de Yellow now got to hold classes to train police how fuh paint out sign. He hire Fip fuh show dem how fuh hold de brush and he calling in Robeson fuh explain how dem can demolish de road.
But dem boys seh that right now he got police guarding de spot wha paint. He think that de people gun guh back deh. That is brains.
Talk half. Lef half.
