The Seven Seas, Nature Valley sponsored Medal Play Golf tournament will take place today at the Lusignan Golf Course.
Both Seven Seas multi vitamins and Nature Valley products are distributed by Geddes Grant Ltd. on Mandela Avenue.
Officials of the Lusignan Golf Club anticipates a large turn out of golfers for the one-day tournament as the players prepare for the Suriname Open, Digicel two-day Classic and the Guyana Open championships all slated for next month.
The line up for Saturday is expected to include Robert Hanoman, Hilbert Shields, Fazil Haniff, Rawle Moore, Andre Cummings, Jerome Khan, Ronald Bulkan, George Bulkan, Bhowlaram Deo, Carlos Adams, Dr. Ram Singh, Patrick Prashad, Esau Shamshudin, Christine Sukhram, Joaan Deo, William Walker, Maurice Solomon, Mike Gayadin, Munaff Arjune, Muntaz Haniff, Chatterpaul Deo, Troy Cadogan, Avinda Kishore, Mike Mangal, Colin Ming, Brian Hackett and Mark Lashley.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three players with the best net scores. There will also be prizes for Nearest to the Pin and Best gross.
Players were requested to register with the Club by 16:00 hours yesterday.
Karen Connell, Product Specialist is expected to present the prizes to the outstanding players on behalf of the sponsors Geddes Grant Ltd. Tee off is at 12:30 hours.
Meanwhile, Robert Hanoman shot a net 63 to emerged winner of last Saturday’s Club tournament. Second place went to Fazil Haniff who edged out Hilbert Shields on a countback for second place after both players ended on net scores of 64.
