…offers online shopping, also available
As a part of its “Week of Promotion” Ashmins Group of Companies yesterday launched two new products — the Gift Baskets and Gifts Certificates. These are expected to assist persons shopping for gifts items.
Addressing the media at the launch was the Company’s Public Relations Officer, Rose Gunraj, who explained that the gift baskets would be beneficial to persons shopping for gifts.
They can call and have the Company cater for a basket for their occasion, or they can call and customize a basket of their choice.
Gunraj added that this initiative also caters for persons overseas as they can shop online using their Visa or Master Card. They too can either order a basket for the occasion or customize one of their own.
The Company also provides delivery services to almost everywhere in Guyana.
Unlike the gift baskets, the gift certificates have a starting price of $5,000 and are aimed at persons who are uncertain as to what gift a person would be comfortable with.
The card will allow the receiver to shop as much as he or she wants providing that they have the certificate to facilitate the cost of the items. Currently in effect is the Ashmins Home Make Over promotion which will enable the winner to get a complete room maker. Persons would be eligible to enter this promotion only if they shop $5,000 or more.
On board with this new project is Harris Paints Company, which will obviously provide paint for the winners’ room if necessary.
Gunraj added that there will be a winner for each month until Christmas. The Company will select the winners in a draw, the first of which is scheduled for September 24, at the company’s location at 48 High Street Werk-en-Rust, Georgetown.
