Miss Angola crowned Miss Universe

Miss Angola, Leila Lopes, was crowned Miss Universe last night ahead of 89 contestants. The contest was held in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
After the preliminaries the competition was down to the final 16 that included Miss Colombia, Catalina Robayo who was sanctioned for going to public functions without underwear. She made the front page of some newspapers showing her crotch.
The others in the final 16 were Miss France, Miss Kosovo, Miss China, Miss Angola, Miss Australia, Miss Puerto Rico, Miss Brazil, Miss

Netherlands, Miss USA, Miss Ukraine, Miss Panama, Miss Costa Rica, Miss Portugal who won most votes from online fans, Miss Philippines and Miss Venezuela.
The competition was whittled down to 10 contestants: Miss Australia, Miss Costa Rica, Miss France, Miss Ukraine, Miss Portugal, Miss Panama, Miss Philippines, Miss Angola, Miss China and Miss Brazil.
The final five were Miss Ukraine, Miss Philippines, Miss China, Miss Brazil and Miss Angola.
Miss China was the fourth runner up, Miss Philippines third runner up, Miss Brazil second runner up and Miss Ukraine, first runner up.
