The Guyana Football Federation (GFF) in conjunction with FIFA will be hosting a Member Association Elite Coaching Course at the Carifesta Sports Complex, commencing from tomorrow September 12 to Friday September 16. The course will be conducted by FIFA Instructor, Mr. Alvin Corneal.
It is anticipated that approximately twenty-five (25) selected coaches from the various football associations affiliated to the GFF, and from Clubs in the National Super League, will be in attendance.
The Elite Coaching Course follows several previous Courses and Seminars conducted under the auspices of the GFF earlier in 2011. These courses are intended to aid in the development of Administrators and Coaches and to equip them with the relevant knowledge and skills to function more effectively in their respective roles in Associations and Clubs.
Registration of participants at the course will commence from 8:30 am, followed by a brief opening ceremony from 9:00 am. Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, Mr. Alfred King, will deliver opening remarks on the occasion.
