The Ryan Crawford Memorial Turf Club and Sports Facilities (RCMTC&SF) has made some adjustments to its grand one day horserace programme which is slated for Sunday 25 September at the club’s facility at Alness Corentyne Berbice.
The event is dubbed a keep fit sprint event with none of the races being more that 1200M and the highest class race being for E class animals. This according to the organizers is to give the animals enough time to get back in shape after the hectic July /August season which saw some six races in eight weeks and the one month layoff during the month of September, Which is expected to be followed by another hectic October/ November season with most of the clubs having race meets slated until year end.
The revised programme has a number of feature events for Animals classified E1 and lower, Three Year old Guyana and West Indies Bred, two events for two year old horses, one for West Indies Bred and another for Guyana Bred, while there is another for G class horses.
