Kares Engineering/Bushy Park Sawmills T10 Cricket Competition
By Edison Jefford
Albion has set itself on a collision course with either the Pitbulls or Invaders XI when they eased to the Kares Engineering/Bushy Park Sawmills T10 Cricket Competition penultimate round with an eighth-wicket win over the Young Warriors last weekend.
Berbice cricket teams, and Berbice as a collective team, has dominated local cricket recently, and it is no rocket science that Albion as a semi-finalist in the Kares competition will be aiming to be in the money on Sunday at the National Stadium at Providence. They must understand that they carry a very rich history and momentum of coming out as victors into the event; the team will understand that responsibility, making Sunday an intriguing one for intense rivalries, keen competition and generally good cricket.
The winner of the senior male category of the competition will take home a whooping $1M with the runners-up getting $500,000. Having looked at the profiles of the Pitbulls and Invaders XI in earlier editions, Kaieteur Sport takes at look at the Albion unit.
