The African Cultural Development Association (ACDA) Sports Committee will be hosting a two-day 4-a-side small goal football competition and penalty shooting competition on September 3 from 11:00hrs and on September 4 from 09:00hrs at C-Field Sophia Tarmac.
Teams competing are: A-Field Sophia, B-Field Sophia, C-Field Sophia, D-Field Sophia, North Sophia, South Sophia, Tiger Bay, Kitty, Vryheid Lust, Lodge, East Ruimveldt and others. Trophies and cash incentive will be at stake for the winning, runner-up and third place team.
Trophies and cash prizes for this competition are donated by: Ministry of Youth Culture and Sports, Mr. Khemraj Ramjattan AFC Presidential Candidate, Honorable Prime Minister Mr. Samuel Hinds, Guyana Defence Force (GDF), Trophy Stall, Bourda Market, Mr. Basil Williams Attorney-at-Law, Ministry of Agriculture, Ms Valarie Lowe TUF Presidential Candidate, President of the Guyana Legion, Mr. Mark Bender of TCL, Giftland and others.
