The National Cycling Coach, Hassan Mohamed MS has organized a Cycling Programme for Cyclists who are presently participating in the Teach Them Young Cycle Coaching Programme (TTYCP) on September 03 in the National Park from 09:00hrs.
The Teach Them Young Cycle Coaching Programme produced most of the top cyclists and originated in 1977.
This year will mark a 35 years existence under the governance of Hassan Mohamed. This programme was sponsored by the National Sports Commission throughout its existing years.
Events for the Cycle Programme are as follows: School Boys and Invitation 35 laps, 12-14 years Boys and Girls 3 laps, Veteran O-50, U-50 and 0-60 5 laps, Juveniles 10 laps, Upright Cyclists 5 laps, BMX Boys 6-9 years 2 laps, BMX Boys 9-12, 12-14 years and Open 3 laps.
The Director of Sport, Mr. Neil Kumar is expected to distribute the prizes to the winning participants.
