Hajjin Zeleena Rafeek Mem. Inter-Jamaat KO T10 cricket
With an overwhelming response to date from Masjids across Guyana, the organizers of the Hajjin Zeleena Rafeek Memorial Inter-Jamaat knock-out Ten10 cricket tournament sponsored by RAF’s Variety Store and organized by the Muslim Youth Organisation (MYO) has extended the deadline to September 4.
To date a total of 25 Masjids have registered and the organizers are anticipating that number to increase.
This inaugural competition, which will bowl off early in the new month will be played at venues nationwide and is anticipated to be an exciting competition. This is the first countrywide tournament being undertaken by the MYO and the Executives Committee is looking forward to the challenge.
Over $600,000 in cash and prizes will be at stake for the outstanding teams and outstanding individual performers. The aim is to attract about 50 Masjids for the five week spectacle. Registration fee is $3,000 per team.
