Presidential candidate of The United Force, Valarie Garrido Lowe, has applauded the winning Under-17 Lady Jags, which just won their group of the Caribbean Football Union World Under-17 qualifying competition.
The young Guyanese defeated Anguilla 2-0 and came from behind to draw with Curacao 1-1 to win the group and advance to the second stage. Ms. Lowe, who watched the Guyanese defeat Anguilla, was so impressed with their performance that she treated the team to pizza and ice cream on Sunday night.
