Heikens captures King’s Jewellery World Golf tourney
Consistent ladies golfer Rita Heikens shot a net 64 to emerged winner of the King’s Jewellery World Annual Medal Play Golf tournament contested over the weekend at the Lusignan Golf Club.
Thirty Eight players took part in the tournament as players gear up to compete in the RBTT/RBC Suriname Open tournament next month. Robert Hanoman copped the second position with net 68 while third place went to Vijay Deo with net 69.
Mohanlall “Santo” Dinnanauth had the Best Gross while Bholawram Deo was Nearest to the Pin.

Secretary of the Lusignan Golf Club William Walker expressed gratitude to King’s Jewellery for their continued sponsorship.
Walker, who won last year’s tournament and walked away with Oakley sunglasses among other prizes, said the LGC is looking forward to a long and fruitful partnership with the local jewelers. Marisa Greene-Basoo who represented King’s Jewellery assisted in the presentation of prizes.
