Sports Celebrities Basketball Team
– who is who on the 2011 roster?
The Nirva Knights Basketball Club will host its second annual Celebrity Basketball Game and Night at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall Saturday. The first event, last year, was a major success and the club has plans to step up the gala event a notch.
The celebrity basketball game usually features renowned sports personalities against the popular entertainers for a year of bragging rights. All proceeds from the game are handed over to charity with the Joshua House benefiting from benevolence last year.
The Nirva Knights yesterday released the roster for the 2011 Sports Celebrities Basketball Team that will compete in the feature game Saturday night. Kaieteur Sport presents brief profiles of the personalities that made this year’s cut for the ‘red carpet’ event.
