De rat is de one who accustom to thiefing. He know that he ain’t got no choice under normal condition because man does pelt he, dog does chase he and cat does kill he. Guyana got nuff cat and nuff rat that is why de politics suh rough.
Dem boys seh that de other day dem had a big campaign. De cat know wha he got and he talking bout all de people he share wid. He talk bout de school and de hospital and de road wha people can walk pun and de fact that nuff people can buy car and house and things like that.
De rat deh in he corner and he hollering how de cat must tell people bout wha he thief while he was doing all dem thing. He tell de cat fuh carry people in all he friends house and let dem explain how dem get some of de things. But is de cheese that de rat talk bout. He know that he like cheese but that de cat got more cheese that he, de cat, need.
Dem boys seh that dem got to intervene because if things continue like that de cat and de rat gun fight all de time. At de same time de rat calling fuh power sharing and de cat talking bout power through de back door. Well rat like back door.
Things got to change and dem boys willing to tek charge. Dem don’t want de power, all dem want is fuh mek sure that de cat behave heself; that he don’t tek wha he can’t eat. In fact, dem boys want de cat fuh put back some of de cheese wha he got but son of a gun getting fat and de life sweet. But dem boys seh that fat life nah good.
