Dear Editor,
Time and again Mr. Vishnu Bisram has used the print media in Guyana to peddle misinformation to the public. Bisram writes as though he is an expert on the laws of Guyana.
To my knowledge, Bisram is not a lawyer yet he gives the impression that he knows the laws of Guyana more than anyone else.
In reference to his letter in Kaieteur News, dated August 4, 2011 and titled “Freddie is skating on thin ice” Bisram provides a twisted and shallow view of the laws of Guyana. In the letter he accuses Mr. Freddie Kissoon of having a “…penchant for lies and distortions.”
Basically, Bisram has called Kissoon a liar but he produces no evidence to substantiate his claim. He continues to fool himself into believing that he can convince the public that he is not a propagandist for the Jagdeo/Ramotar PPP. But proof of this lay in his bogus NACTA polls in which he fabricates results that the PPP wants him to produce.
His so-called NACTA polls do not yield the results as predicted. Bisram will not fool anyone with his fairy tale letters and concocted polls. It is my opinion that Bisram says things that he himself does not believe. For example, he writes in the same newspaper “according to almost every Guyanese, Jagdeo is non racial.
Almost everyone in Guyana says Jagdeo has bent backwards to accommodate Africans most of whom see the President in a positive light in an opinion poll I recently conducted.”
It is very difficult for me to believe that Bisram believes this. If he does, then he is not honest.
How can any individual with a sound mind say that most Afro-Guyanese see Jagdeo in a positive light? This is absurd, to say the least. This baseless and ridiculous claim by Bisram does not exist among Afro-Guyanese. It was manufactured by Bisram in his spurious NACTA polls to appease the Jagdeo/Ramotar clan. The truth is, the Jagdeo regime has marginalized Afro-Guyanese.
Bisram has been known for spreading false information in almost all of his letters. For example, in another letter in Kaieteur News dated August 8, 2011 and titled: “Bisram responds to Mayor Green’s challenge”, Bisram claimed that the PNC has raped hundreds of young girls who were in the National Service and has murdered Vincent Teekah and Walter Rodney.
He also claimed that he knew several of the doctors who performed abortions on these girls.
When asked by Mayor Hamilton Green to produce the evidence, Bisram skirted around the issue and instead provided long and nonsensical reasons as to why he would not produce the evidence.
It is clear that Bisram has no evidence to produce because none exists. He is bent on spreading PPP propaganda to the public. This is moronic.
Bisram has also ignored the question as to who murdered Minister Sash Sawh, Ron Waddell and the more than four hundred Guyanese between 2002 and 2006.
In his letter to Stabroek News dated August 10 and titled “False allegations” Mr. Bisram accuses Mr. Malcolm Harripaul of spreading false information that President Jagdeo asked to be invited to the Federation of Indian Association (FIA) parade. Bisram claimed that Jagdeo was officially invited as the head of state and he blamed the media for not verifying the information before publishing it.
Bisram is yet to provide evidence that Freddie Kissoon is a liar and that the PNC is responsible for the crimes and murders. Until he does, I think that he is misleading the public.
