Guyana Football Federation (GFF) Vice President, Franklin Wilson, has been elevated to the position of Acting President of that organisation following the enforced absence of Colin Klass by World Football Governing body, FIFA.
General Secretary Noel Adonis informed Wilson and the GFF affiliates via correspondence yesterday that he was elevated to the post.
The letter stated, “Following the Provisional Suspension of the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) President Colin Klass from taking part in any Football Related Activities (administrative, sports, or other related activity) Mr Franklin Wilson, Vice President of the GFF, has been elevated to the post of Acting President of the GFF with immediate effect in accordance with the provisions of Article 37.5 of the GFF Constitution.”
This letter has been sent to all GFF affiliates.
