The charge against 18-year-old Travis Anthony, stated that on August 8, in Georgetown, armed with a pair of scissors, he robbed Bonny Paris of one BlackBerry cellular phone worth $60,000.
Anthony was not required to plead to the indictable charge.
The accused, who was unrepresented, made an unsuccessful application for bail.
