Trophy Stall/MYO Inter Jamaat Tape Ball Cricket
Muslim Youth Organisation (MYO) are the 2011 champions of the Trophy Stall sponsored Muslim Youth Organisation organised Nationwide Inter-Jamaat 10 overs Tape Ball round-robin cricket competition which concluded on Sunday last at the MYO Ground, Woolford Avenue, Thomas Lands.
In the final which was a low scoring affair, LBI A batting first were limited to 61 which MYO knocked off for the loss of two wickets and 3.1 overs to spare. Trophies were awarded to the following:
Winners – MYO; Runners Up – LBI A; Third Place – De Edward (Berbice); Man-of-the-match of the finals – Shaheed Gittens; Most runs in the competition – Shaheed Gittens; Most wickets in the competition – Reyaz Yacoob; Highest Individual Score – Shakeef Ishmail; Best Bowling Figures- Reyaz Yacoob; Team that showed the most discipline and commitment in the competition – De Edward.
