The Berbicians, who will face Chris Gayle’s Hits and Jams All Stars in the second semi-final on Friday from 21:00hrs, raced to 197-6 with nine balls left replying to DCC’s 195-4 off 20 overs.

Test fast bowler Brandon Bess removed Andrew Lyght Jnr (3) to leave DCC on 15-1 in the 3rd over, but Leron Primo (26) showed some fight with consecutive sixes off Esaun Crandon before he fell to the National pacer.
Singh and fellow left-hander joined Johnson and hammered Royston Crandon for two sixes before he smashed West Indies leg spinner Devendra Bishoo and Guyana left-arm spinner Veerasammy Permaul for boundaries as the runs flowed.
But Bishoo got rid of Singh and West Indies t20 player Chris Barnwell (13), who got going with a six off Permaul, was bowled by Bishoo.
Johnson showed that he can also adapt to the fast-paced scoring of t20 cricket with an array of audacious shots, while Derwin Christian, who like Barnwell will represent Georgetown in the Masters’ Cup competition, thumped Bishoo for a straight six.
Johnson struck Bess for his fourth six to reach his fifty and celebrated by stroking the last ball of the innings for four leaving Christian unbeaten on 24.
When the Berbicians began their reply National t20 batman Richard Ramdeen fell in the first over for a duck before Anthony Bramble (6) departed at 16-2 to give DCC the upper hand.
Esaun Crandon deposited Johnson for six, while Foo dumped Barnwell for a six and two fours in one over.
Esuan Crandon was run out by a direct from Jamal Hinckson before Foo, who has played 21 t20 games including two for the West Indies ‘A’ team against Pakistan, reached
his 50 from 23 balls with a six.
The explosive Foo, who helped Guyana to their first Champions League t20 qualification last year, tore into Johnson hitting him for three sixes in his third over.
Bishun, who could now miss this weekend’s two-day mega tournament at Providence due to a burst webbing on his hand as he stopped a thunderous straight drive from Foo, was forced to leave the field and Foo soon reached his century from 40 balls with nine fours and nine sixes.
Berbice lost Royston Crandon and Assad Fudadin but Foo, who was dropped thrice, scored 26 from his last nine balls to hit 11 sixes and 10 fours in his 49-ball innings to see his team to victory.
